yesterday morning i got out to look for a writing desk...Josh told me about this place that sells used office furniture on getwell so i went there and all their crap was way too expensive...the cheapest shit, which by the way is the garbage they kept sitting outside, was $50...fuck that...then i went to thrift town...they had one huge desk that was over 200 and fuck the fuck out of that...i had gotten a call from my mom so since i was nearing out towards my parents' house i went over there and helped them take the cover off the pool...then i smelled like fish...but i got to see the dogs...then i went to Jacques/Amber's and we went over to Paul and Katie's house for Paul's graduation party thingie...i ated way too much but it didn't even seem like i ate all that much...but it was pretty swell...we were there like all day the only thing that was lame was my feet had gotten wet so i was sitting around for hours and hours with wet socks...aside from that all was quite fine...but i still haven't been able to procure a writing desk...oh well...my car still makes that little noise...but hopefully it doesn't mean anything terrible...as i previously stated, i hate cars...oh yeah, but i did finally put some stickers on my car yesterday...my "i ♥ dub", The Family Ghost, Neil Hamburger, and "CUBIC* cube I think that square is top of cool shape in the world" stickers...i went to bed at fuckin' 11:30 last night...i guess i was tired...then today i mowed my grandmother's yard...the end...

moment of panic
May. 15th, 2005 10:09 pmeven though i got more than 10 hours of sleep last night i ended up passing out for an hour or two this afternoon (i guess i've been a little behind in sleep from the previous days...and then doing physical activity i guess made me tired too...) but after i woke up i finished reading Dead Souls by Nikolai Gogol...most of The Family Ghost got together to practice...Brad did not...but in his absense we resurrected "Moment of Panic"...i showed Josh Jacques' guitar part and he started working on a bass part...then Jacques arrived and we all started working on it...and not only were we working out what we'd had, but we started adding parts to it and restructuring it in all sorts of crazy ways...i think it's turning out pretty neat-o so far...it'll be swell when it all comes together...and it was fun dusting off my old e-h ring modulator...haven't had that hooked up in forever...
