the real that day...

i woke up this morning and braved the ice driving out to my parents' house...the roads (i.e. poplar ave.) weren't terribly bad...much of the street was visible but there were patches of ice and such...the only places where it was really bad bad was in the shade, near building and trees and such...but anyway the christmas thing was done...there was food, presents, and dogs (even Shiloh, my sister's dog: brother of Lacey, son of Lizzie, grandson of Leala...) aside from the early present i'd already gotten, i mostly got tools and the like...when that was over i slipped my way back to my home (for the next week anyway...after that i guess i get to go back to calling my parents' house home...uh, merry christmas...)
