pigs on my ass!

another night closing last night...slow but did alright 'cuz i was working w/ Rusty again...two stories involving cops...the first is from early on in the evening...i made a delivery to the central precinct (the one right around the corner from the store, not the hideously massive 201 Poplar) and the cops at the front desk were watching something on one of those portable dvd players...as i was leaving one of 'em said "damn! she's got some big ol' titties!" the second story is from the very end of the night...i had made this one delivery towards the end and both the address and phone number were wrong so i obviously couldn't get the food delivered...the guy calls back about 2:30, when we're closed...i'm in the middle of mopping, getting ready to get the hell out of there...so i had to take the food back (now that we had the correct address) so i'm a little annoyed about this and i'm in a hurry since i should already be done and all...i get pulled over on Union for going 50 in a 35...(i'll also interject the ridiculousness of enforcing a 35 mph speed limit on a very wide 6 lane street that's completely empty at 2:30am...) the cop was nice and only ticketed me for going 40...then coming back i got pulled over again by the same cop...i had been going a little under 40, but then just a few blocks away from the store i rushed slightly and he clocked me at 43...he started to act like he was going to give me another ticket but he ended up letting me go...but damn, it's nerve-wracking just thinking about the whole thing...

today i got up early (a little before 2pm) and went to the school...i changed my intent to graduate to the end of this coming up semester...i guess i'm gonna take graphics...i think i can manage only taking the one damned class...i still need to track down my advisor to get cleared to register as well as get my elective sequence changed again...blargh...after that i tried to find the place where you get your tags renewed...i just need some documentation that my tags are current for court wednesday...the stuff that came when it was mailed is missing...i couldn't find the place...i paid rent on the practice space...a funny thing: just last night i was talking to David online about how i'm saving money right now and won't be buying any cds in the near future...but then this other factor came into play: time to kill...so i went by Legba:

it was kind've funny 'cuz Greg was all talking to me and was like "have you heard so-andd-so i think you'd like them..." then he played for me this album by a band called Country [something]...i can't remember the whole name but they were good...Country Slicks? don't think that's it...but something close to that i think...then i went to work...after that i went and hung out at Jacques and Amber's for a little bit...now i'm home...i wish Paul and Brad would return my calls...bastards...i have court tomorrow...for the damn tail light...bollocks to that...
