"there's no shame in being a pariah"

after my second class on tuesday, i paged Camy and this time she returned my call...i asked if she'd hire me back...she started off like she was going to say "no," all "after Paul and the others walking out and all i guess i've finally gotten mad" well, something along those lines, i don't remember excactly...but then she started like "i'd be lying if i didn't say i like you a lot...you were better than the average employee...i hated to see you go and so did everybody else...and you just made one mistake" but she was still on the "but you've gotta understand..." then she was finally like "i'll tell you what, i don't want to make a snap decision right now and just say no, i won't forgive you or yes...there's a manager's meeting tonight and i'll talk it over w/ them and i'll call you back tomorrow"...and breaking w/ chronology, she called back yesterday and i'm now hired back at Camy's...kind've pathetic, but there is something nice about being somewhere i'm appreciated and competent...i called The North End sometime later than that and quit there...gone and back in less than a month...but anyway, back to tuesday, before my third class i swung by Kerry's and picked up my cds...never in a million years would i have thought getting cds back could be depressing...after that i went by Jacques' and watched The Simpsons before my final class for the day...now i'll mention that my three tues/thurs classes are going to be on the bastardly side as i predicted...involving work and projects and programming...ugh...i hate all of those things...after class i went over to Adam's and we hung out for a while...we went to the Deli then we just kicked it around his apartment...while there i did happen upon the funniest thing ever...i finally made it back home at an insanely late hour...yesterday evening i went to court for my first ticket...well, i didn't actually do the whole court thing, i saw somebody in the lobby (which was horribly crowded...Germantown loves handing out them tickets...) and asked desperately if there was a program or anything for students, but they just have that for minors...so i went over to the cashier or whoever and paid it and left...so it wasn't too bad...except that i didn't get out of it...it's strange now posting about a wednesday night w/out karaoke...but it doesn't look like i'll be going again...instead, i had myself a Simpsons marathon, watching almost all of the second season...now i'm up at school, between my first two classes...hopefully my car's okay in its illegal spot...at least it didn't take so long to find this one...
