well, shit...
Nov. 28th, 2001 12:46 amonce again, i kept wanting to sleep this morning when i should've been waking up...and had it not been for a momentary island of reason in my sleep-ridden thought, i wouldn've overslept again, thinking i was awake w/ plenty of time (the age old mistake of thinking class starts at 5 instead of 4...) and it turns out that everyone's paper for the project is due thursday, not the day of the presentation...so a paper i thought i had to have by tuesday is due in a day and a half...i'm so fucking screwed...and there's an exam in real analysis, the day of my presentation...so that's two big things on the same day...ugh...after class i went to the library to find some books for my project...i couldn't find any the (print) references i had found on the internet...there were like two that the system said was available in the library but when i went to the shelves they weren't there...bah! but doing some extra searching i found one book...Auditory Scene Analysis: the Perceptual Organization of Sound...it's very thick and it seems very relevant to my project...which is always good...i actually got all worn out from walking around and going up and down the stairs "so much"...god i'm out of shape...then i went to Camy's to see if i could find another driver to work for me tomorrow, so i can have the night off and maybe get my paper written...i don't know if i'll have any luck...actually right now i think i'm gonna say fuck it and turn it in late...we're supposed to have it in thursday and everyone gets a copy of someone else's paper and we're doing peer review...but i think i might skip that...it sucks but i'm almost positive that there's no way i'll be able to get it done in time...back to my good ol' method of giving up, it looks! we'll see...
