went over to The Apartment after class this morning...going back over tomorrow and we will purchase our passes for the festival and reserve our room at the hostile/hotel thingie we'll be staying at...The Arlington House...seems beyond decent actually...and a completely private room (bahtroom and all, i believe) will be about $25 per person per night...for the 3 of us...

taped the 25 Years of Punk special thingie on VH1 a short while ago...that was pretty good...as i mentioned earlier, Lee Ranaldo and Thurston Moore were interviewed...and both "Youth against Facism" and "Teen Age Riot" were played in the background...and there were bunches of clips that were in the "Teen Age Riot" video strewn about...as well as "1991: The Year Punk Broke"...but mostly that was Nirvana, of course...although there was a bit of SY footage...but it didn't mention Wire at all...or Suicide (even though the rest of the NYC protopunkers got their props...) the second coolest part was Lee talking about how Talking Heads were college nerds/geeks (positively, of course...) and the coolest part was Lee saying "Green Day is not punk" in the midst of Billy Joe being interviewed whining about ppl calling him sellout punk...

my sister also stole the one box of Coco Pebbles i had gotten...

here's a comment i made in someone else's journal...but i thought i'd link it from mine since it was entirely over-confessional...and would do better as a 'journal' entry type thingie than most of the crap i post here...

i wonder if it's a bad thing that i relate so well w/ this ep...nah...(anything that can make Joy Division seem non-depressing HAS to be great...) if i ever met Lou Barlow i'd haveta give him a big ol' smoocher...
