Goodbye, Mom

My mom died this morning. It was very much expected. Dad let me know last night that she hadn't been responsive at all yesterday. And for days before, she had been only responsive a little bit, waking up here and there. But yesterday not at all. In many ways it's a relief, given the condition she's been in for the last few weeks. But no matter what, it's still hard.
