I got excited about the Nobel Prize in Literature announcement yesterday. I haven't read anything by Han Kang yet and her work seems really interesting so I was happy to check it out (since The Vegetarian had won the Booker and was relatively big, I was kinda aware of it on the periphery of my radar, but I didn't really know anything about it). Anyway, I had gone and placed an order for one of her books at Novel to pick up, and after work I went down there and picked it up: Greek Lessons by Han Kang. So I'll be excited to read it pretty soon-ish. Not a whole ton aside from that. At night, Mary Beth and I had an impromptu cereal party, eating Apple Jacks together, watching The Facts of Life. It was fun!
