I remembered the thing I'd forgotten then remembered then forgot again to post about the Saturday show. While Optic Sink was setting up, a song played on the overhead. I knew it but I couldn't place it and it was driving me crazy. After we got home I was racking my brain and combing over my music to try to find it. Then it hit me that it was a Foetus song. But then I discovered it was actually a song that Foetus had covered and what I'd heard at the venue was the original, which I'd never heard before: "Faith Healer" by The Sensational Alex Harvey Band (hadn't been familiar with them at all). Feotus covers it as "Hate Feeler" on a live album. The cover plays very much like the original so it was easy to recognize. Anyway, just a small pointless anecdote. Also, on the way to the show on Sunday my toe started hurting. When we got there I loosened my shoe. But I was getting that feeling very similar to an ingrown toenail. I found that the nail was cut a little jagged on the side so I filed it down a little bit. I'm thinking it's better by now, but still a little worried. Not a whole lot else. Last night Mary Beth and I did our Superlo grocery run and that's about it.
