Bunch Of

I ran a bunch of errands. Well, kind of. A couple or so anyway. First I went up to the Sheet Cake gallery to pick up the two Kong Wee Pang paintings we bought at the exhibition a little while back. So I go and pick them up and they're wrapped and all and I take them home. Then we're excited and we open the wrapping to look at them...and one of them doesn't look right. We got the two we did as a set because their colors are similar and go well together. But the one was a different color palette. We pulled up the brochure guide from the show we still had and sure enough the one we'd gotten was titled Driftwood Nest 2 instead of Driftwood Nest that we bought. I called the gallery back and the owner said she'd get it straightened out on Monday and she messaged Mary Beth later and said she could bring it by our place to exchange for the correct one. Then a little later Wayne came by to pick up his amp so that was exchanged back. Then I went out to Billy Hardwick's to reserve some lanes for the birthday thing next week (I'd called about it earlier and they told me to come in person). So that's done and while I was in the area I thought I'd go try to see if the few Krogers around there have the Pepsis I want since I've been having a spotty time trying to find them lately. One of the two had one pack so at least I have a little more now. Then while I was in the same parking lot I went to Lucchesi's and picked up some cake slices (we ate them later at night and got too full but it was awesome). In the evening we went on a walk around the neighborhood. When we walked past our next door neighbor's house we smelled gas. After the walk it was still there and as I walked closer and approached the side of the house (where the meter is) it was smelling even stronger. So we called mlgw and reported it and maybe thirty minutes later there was a truck there to check it out. Mary Beth met him outside and he said he smelled it so he was going to fix it. After a while there were a couple more trucks out there. Then this morning we saw another truck in back (maybe that was a follow-up to make sure the leak was still fixed after x hours had passed, that's just a guess). Today starts the first stage of my colonoscopy prep. Three days before I can't eat certain things like wheat and multigrain and raw fruits/vegetables. I can still eat most things. Then the day before is when I can only have clear liquids. A slight easing into it, I guess.
