Tapes

I got some cds in the mail: Windy & Carl: Unreleased Home Recordings 1992-1995 and Seah: Upwelling (they also sent me along with that a lathe 7" and their photo book Post Doom Romance: Prairie Transmissions!). I had posted a query online asking if there was anyone in town who could sell me one or two blank cassette tapes. I had a few people respond. The first person ended up having six blank tapes scattered about so I asked how much for the six and he asked for fifty dollars and then kept trying to throw in other things into it to make it a "bargain". Jesse had two and he was willing to part with them for free but I made sure to at least offer a few Mexicokes for his troubles. I went over and picked those up after work and we chatted a bit. That's about it. Now I can continue with my original plan for the tribute show this weekend.
