snow day

before i went to work yesterday, i played w/ the dogs outside in the snow...i video taped it too: as in, footage for The Family Ghost's first video...doggies playing in snow, nothing cooler...(you can read the pun as intentional or un-...works either way...) work was alright...for a while we were pretty busy, though the tips were a lot crummier than they should've been considering lots of crap was cancelled due to weather/bad roads...but the volume helped balance it out some...i was also bribed w/ free food to stay after the first shift and do a bunch of dishes (since an enormous pile had amassed since we were so busy...) went to karaoke...first did "One" by U2...then i asked her if we could bring in our own cds, she said it was okay so i went in my car and brought out More Songs about Buildings and Food...hours later at the VERY end it finally got back around to me so i brought up the cd to sing "Thank You for Sending Me an Angel" but the damn cd player kept skipping (even though my cd is in pristine condition...the player's a tempermental piece of shit that doesn't like playing normal cds right...) so i just told her to pick a random song...she pulled out a disc, i picked a number and ended up singing "The Wanderer"...i'll try the my-own-cd thing again next week...i wanna do something c00l by crikey!

aight...but if i'm not mistaken, he's on his way to work right now, where'd you be able to get the message to him far quicker than i via livejournal...(well, unless i delivered the message via livejournal, then we'd both get it to him at the same time...yea...)
