Yesterday Mary Beth and I went up to the Dixon. The main exhibit there was on some collection of American painters. It goes back to the nineteenth century with lots of landscapes and such through impressionism and up into abstract modernism. There was a lot of good stuff in there. Afterwards we stopped by Lucchesi's and picked up some cheesecake (and then we went home and ate the cheesecake!). Then daylight savings happened and I woke up "later" today. I had been sure that this was going to be the last one, that it was a done deal, but then I find out that while it was passed by the Senate, the House never did anything with it (though it apparently just got re-introduced, so maybe...). Anyway!
