Last night Mary Beth finished reading to me a couple books, first Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli and then Transgender Warriors by Leslie Feinberg. All the cluster of finished books isn't because of super-fast reading, but there's been lots of gradual parallel back-and-forth reading of multiple books!
