Last night I ended up working on a deployment. It went pretty easy though. Oh, found out Stan (vp over who left last week, incidentally Betsy’s brother-in-law) went to work for Cracker Barrel. He’d made it out like he didn’t have anything lines up so I guess he just didn’t want to tell people he was going to work for Cracker Barrel. Late at night last night Mary Beth finished reading Unquenchable Fire by Rachel Pollack to me. Oh, I knew there was something I was forgetting! I finally got around to trying out that app Lupa that's tied-in with NPR's Spanish language podcast Radio Ambulante and you listen to people tell stories and it has features to expose or hide the transcription at various levels and slow it down and stuff. I think it will be very good as listening to spoke Spanish is the damn hardest. Also, if I let it go much longer without practicing I'll be on the verge of losing the whole damn thing again! And I did NOT spend two whole hardcore doing duolingo every day to not keep it! Anyway, still on the free examples they have but I think I'll get into Lupa!
