Mary Beth's Aunt Laurie died yesterday. So that's pretty awful, I mean, I guess we knew that was coming, that or just being brain dead/in a coma. I don't think I ever talked about how weird the whole thing was. She was in an accident a few weeks ago. At first it was a minor accident, I don't have all the details straight but as best I understand she had backed her car into a building or something, I think maybe just a single-car thing and she was okay, had called Uncle Denny and he was on his way to pick her up. But then another car came and crashed into her already wrecked car and that's when she was injured. She's always meant so much to Mary Beth and it's awful we'll never get to see her again. Anyway, we miss her a lot. We relaxed ourselves last night with The Simpsons and some Lost Cities. That's about it for now.

did my folks tell you more? 'cause that's even more than i knew, if so...i still don't quite know what happened with the 2nd accident, if there was another car or not, i suppose there had to be...ugh. it never feels appropriate to ask and/but the last few awful/shocking passings of people i felt close to have that in common, how the cause was mysterious/not fully explained to me and that makes it harder i think.
