Mary Beth and I went for a walk around the neighborhood yesterday. The weather was very lovely. I think I ended up pulling a muscle in my foot though. It started being a little bit sore on the bottom last night. It's not real bad though. I worked on getting the pi set up yesterday. I have obs studio successfully installed and I have several pieces of the puzzle in place. The main thing now is figuring out how to stream TO it from elsewhere. We'll see if I can figure that out...

What are you using the pi for? I missed that post apparently.

I found an interesting project for a realtime music/audio OS using raspberry pi.

I think maybe I shared it (not sure if directly with you - or just a post):

https://elk.audio/audio-os/

Apparently it supports VSTi 3 instruments, too.
There's some hardware (including a breakout/daughter board with ports for CV/Midi/Gate) you can use with pi, as well beyond the OS:

Are you using it as a streaming server? Or is this for a home media center?

Ah ok - yeah the whole Elk Audio thing is made for low latency group performance.

This is the actual service - I'm not sure if it's actually up and running or if there's a fee, I just went to see what the deal is with the "ultra low latency" thing for them.

Probably best to just DIY. That said, since it is an open source OC for Raspberry Pi, and all about low latency - might be something you can consider (I haven't delved enough into it).
