I Am a Free Man

Did a few things yesterday! Still been trying to get the raspberry pi set up, even upgraded the whole os, but still just trying to work through the few (hopefully) missing pieces to get what I needed installed and running. But it's a pain in the ass. Mary Beth and I did the photo session for our Halloween costumes. We're did The Prisoner this year. I'm Number 6 (as I vaguely look like Patrick McGoohan anyway) and she's Number 2. So she went and got pieces of clothing for me, a turtleneck, a cheap jacket (which she wrapped its edges in white tape), and boating shoes. And she got big number pins for us. Her costume was pretty much just the number pin. We were going to get a balloon for Rover, but instead just took a ball and put it in a (n off-) white pillowcase. It was fun and I made a lot of stupid faces. I got a Criterion order in the mail from their recent flash sale: The Elephant Man, Beau Travail, and The Comfort of Strangers. We drove over to the park and took a little walk around it. We were going through the forest trails and ended up running into more people than we'd expected so we ended up cutting the thing a little short, but it was still nice. I also finished reading The Complete Stories by Zora Neale Hurston. They were okay. There were a few that had very nice endings. Later at night we broke out the Menagerie expansion of Dominion. We played just from that box but used randomizers for all the cards and got kind of a weird and unbalanced set. It was fun, but the flow of the action in the game was a little ridiculous and it went pretty fast. Okay, I think that's about it for now.
