I've now hit a thirty-one day streak in Duolingo. I've kept it up for a month! So, feeling pretty good about all that! Also yesterday I finished reading The Big Midweek: Life inside The Fall by Steve Hanley & Olivia Piekarski. It was very enjoyable and a good read. Was a little sad to Room to Live! disparaged (I think it's an underrated album, but I can see the frustration from an inside perspective). And even when he's talking of the years of the band's less-than-stellar material, it's always entertaining (and I have a bunch of Fall albums I haven't listened to in forever that I'm curious to revisit, and a few I'd never gotten to). I forgot to mention the dvd service we just subscribed to, and how we watched History Lessons and Pola X: it's called Cafe dvd and it works similar to the original Netflix-by-mail service (I think we actually still have our subscription to that too, but they apparently don't really have much in stock when you're looking for stuff).
