Post-Post-Pilot

Last night Mary Beth and I started in on the beginning of the 19th season of The Simpsons. As expected, past its prime but there's still quite a good number of moments that make me laugh a lot. That's my two-episodes-in synopsis. The box art and menu art for this season is really fantastic. It's some very nice Bill Plympton work. What happened at work today? Brooke had a baby shower. We got the news that the pilot is in fact being postponed yet again. This time, now all the teams are ready. They're just pushing back to be safe around end-of-year stuff. At least that's the message we were told.
