the fun just doesn't stop
Sep. 7th, 2000 05:32 pmright after my last entry last night i went over to Justin's...started to...my ABS light was coming on so i thought "hmmm...i'll prob'ly need to get my anti-lock brake system checked soon..." (it was also jerking a little when i'd take my foot off the gas pedal...) on the way to Justin's i decided i wanted a coca-cola and perhaps a candy bar of sorts...i was going to stop off at a gas station...at the light i stopped at before i got to said gas station, the car didn't wanna go at first when i stepped back on the gas, but after a second or so it went with a slight jerk...i got to the gas station and went in...ironically enough, they didn't have any Snickers so i got a Baby Ruth to accompany my cola beverage...i got back in my car, turned the key [insert the beginnings of the sounds of a car starting up] hrm...try again [more/less of the same...] well fuck! i called Justin, he came to pick me up...we moved the car from where it was to a propper parking space...i tried the key a couple more times and it eventually (not THAT eventually) went down to just one [click]...we went back to Justin's apartment and watched American Psycho...it was good...i slept there...luckily i had my Algorithms book w/ me (i didn't have my Calculus book, but it wasn't reallY a big deal...he took me to class in the morning (he lives close to school...) he had an 8 o'clock class (my first is 9:40) so i sat around for a while slowly trying to figure out how to prove a certain algorithm's (Bubble Sort's) correctness...(i eventually figured out how simple it is durring my calculus class...) then went to algorithms class...Justin picked me back up from school and i was taken home...i cooked a chicken pot pie...should have burned it since i accidentally left it in the oven for an hour longer than i should've (it should've been in 50 min) i recall looking at the clock once and thinking "ah...my food will be ready in just 3 min or so..." then the internet distracted me some more and an hour passed...but it actually wasn't bad...not quite as good as ones cooked the propper amount of time...but oh well...watched the Simpsons and here i am...blah...
