ateolfI spent much of the day yesterday just continuing to rip a slew of early electronic and musique concrète stuff for the MC overhead music. That cdr that was giving me trouble Saturday night, worked just fine when I tried again yesterday morning. Guess my drive just needed a rest. Met with Luís and Jacques yesterday to go over some stuff about the festival. We'll be meeting again later this week. Then at night I made a playlist for the Sonosphere podcast and I pieced it together and recorded intros to all the songs. I'm hoping that doesn't sound too corny. I had to pre-write everything I said so it sounds scripted ('cuz it is!) but better than rambling incoherently, but still a bit goofy. Anyway, that took me a while but I got it done. The mix is pretty nice, music that "influenced" the festival (uh yeah, early electronic and musique concrète!) along with artists who are playing this year. Only sad that there's just so much you can fit into an hour. I did a pretty good job of cramming given the restraint though. Then it was back to work today and now I'm home!
