Last, I Think

Had a Memphis Concrète meeting up at Cafe Eclectic last night. Luís, Jacques, and Chris were there. We talked about stuff and did some planning and stuff and hopefully stuff is all on track. Afterwards I watched a little tv with Mary Beth. We watched the latest episode of Brooklyn 99 and then watched some Futurama. Then I pretty much wrapped up another ticket at work. Today was Dylan's last day. I remembered the thing I'd forgotten to include about the trip. It was the fireplace in our cabin and trying to start a fire. They had all this firewood but it would not light. I couldn't go outside for kindling because it was constantly raining but we used a good amount of paper for kindling. We both tried on different nights and could not get the wood to catch at all. I'm thinking that even though it might not have been rained on directly, it was damp from the air. Or something like that. But there was a struggle for fire and we lost. Oh well, losing just drove us into the jacuzzi more.
