ahhhhhhhhh...a wednesday night i'm not working...fucking wonderful, that...i'm actually off for a relatively long sequence of days, due to my trip to l.a. which isn't happening now...but i could use the time off, so i am...though were the trip going as originally planned, we'd be leaving in a mere few hours...for little rock...in at least 4 and a half, i'm sure...damn...but at least i'm not missing the classes now...which i kind've can't afford to do...but oh well...we (David and i) are still planning on going somewhere this weekend...we think we've decided on the 1-2 punch of hitting St. Louis and then Louisville...wow...i never realized until just now as i was typing this that both cities have "Louis" in their name...now if there was some guy going along named Louis, wow! that would just plain crazy! watch out..but it should be a rockin' rekkid buying excursion...as St. Louis has the best record store i've ever been to (Vintage Vinyl) and i've heard that Louisville has a great record store (Ear Ecstasy) and they're both pretty close...i don't think any of the three cities (Memphis being the third, of course) are more than 6 hrs apart...it should be a rocktastic journey in any case...and it's been like two summers since our summer of pointless trips to St. Louis...an event sorely missed...also, not having to go to work tonight means that i was able to watch The Simpsons...oh that was wonderful...i miss The Simpsons...since school's been happening, the days i don't have class while it's on i'm working...bollocks to that...hopefully i'll get to my models of comp homework soon...i need to do well on it...i did pretty bad on the exam...and i've already screwed off on what room i have to screw up for the homeworks...

Lou Reed NEVER leaves Lou York City...he even sends out lookalikes when he "goes on tour"...and all the singing's prerecorded...though they tried it back in the early days of the Velvets...they had to sedate 'em 'cuz when they tried to get him on the plane he just started cuttin' everyone...

Hmmm..Then I guess you're right, nobody named "Louis" is going to St. Louis and Louisville this weekend after all.. :(
