Postering

I was busy working on artwork yesterday. I made the design for the 2018 Memphis Concrète poster. This also entailed completely redoing the logo from scratch (I'd been using the same copy/paste job from a pretty lo-res image so it's been artifacts getting passed along and that wasn't gonna keep cutting it, also I'd since made small changes to the font, and that alone took up like half the day). But I got it done and it's looking pretty nice. I also got my idea in for a solo show next month. I'm finally following through with the electronic music accompanying a sci-fi reading at Two Rivers Bookstore. I also got the poster made for that, which was kinda fun. So yeah, a day of posters. I was a little sad 'cuz I didn't get around to trying to exercise til it was pretty late and I didn't wanna make so much noise so I missed my first day. I (not really) made up for it by doing some pushups badly. Anyway, today was a little busy on social media with the posting of flyers and I also announced the tickets are available for the festival. So slightly busy, but not too bad.
