so i went ahead and wrote my project proposal anyway...i'm all taking my time getting ready for class yesterday then suddenly i look down at the clock and it's 4...the time my class starts...i think lately i've been getting mixed up w/ my normally going to work at 5, thus making me fuck-up my schedule as i'm stupid...so i get to class 25 min late and hand Dr. Garzon my proposal...he sticks it in this pile...then i find out that this pile is for ppl who didn't follow the proper format and thus won't take...at least half the class have their paper in this pile...oh, prob'ly 'cuz he never actually told us of a proper format...so now i've gotta find out what that is and do it...blah...i was also called upon in class and had to go up to the board...and not being caught up w/ the material i vaguely stumbled through his harassment...

after class i went w/ Monika and Jennifer and we ate at that Ethiopian restaraunt...it fucking stomped ballz...on top of the food being just great, the ppl working there were really nice...the guy even showed us the proper way to eat the food...instead of silverware, you tear off a bit of the cool spongy bread and pick up the food w/ that and eat it...and we got all 3 of our meals brought out on the same plate on top of the bread stuff (as was the case w/ me and David in Chicago...) so that was ruling...

i have a probability test today...i should be studying for that soon...it shouldn't be too bad though...i just need to make sure i remember everything...which i currently do not...but i have a couple hours for that...

I wish there was an Ethiopian restaurant in Pittsburgh. Grr.

Which Ethiopian restaurant did you go to in Chicago? Or, more generally, where was it?

okay...i definatley don't remember the name, but it does have open mic dj'ing on thursday nights (the night we went)...and it was on (! the big street we spent most of our time on this time...i'm forgetting its name...not Milwaukee, that was the street we spent most of our time on for the other Chicago trip...) okay...the street that the Metro's on...i think it was pretty close to that...on the same side of the road as the Metro...a block or two down, in that area w/ lots of restaraunts...the close to the corner opposite of the corner Wriggly Stadium's on...if any of that makes sense...

Yeah, it makes sense. :)

The street in question is Clark, and there are a couple of Ethiopian restaurants on that street, between Belmont and Addison. I remember having gone to one about two years ago, but when I visited again last summer, it was closed. Blah. Haven't gone to any on that street since, but I did go to one on the far North Side when I was there a month ago.

There are apparently a few good Ethiopian restaurants in LA as well, when you visit there in a few weeks. (I'm so jealous, dammit...) I think one (which I've heard many people speak of highly) is called Nyala, but I didn't get a chance to drop by when I was out there.

i'm majoring in computer science and math and minoring in spanish...though i've already finished all my requirements for that...the class w/ the bastardly professor is a comp sci class...the bastardly professor is also chairman of the comp sci department...the one person who ever teaches this class...blah blah...
