Gave my last phone interview today. It went pretty well. Now I have the horrible task of choosing which of the two candidates to join my team! They're both pretty equally matched and it's really fucking hard to choose which one! It's also weird being hit with that level of responsibility, but hey, welcome to being the tech lead. I guess overall it's good that I'm the one who gets to make the choice as I'm the one who will actually be working with this person, but it's hard, but I'll figure it out. Had a bit of an annoying bit of rushing on something for b2b (always an emergency!), I should have just worked on other stuff and sent 'em along to my scrummaster. Ah, never learn. A small thing, but there was still a bit of back and forth because of the rushing. Had another going-away lunch. Sahithi is leaving to work for another company. Well, goodbye "literature." After work I watched Beyond the Valley of the Dolls and it was kinda bad, oh well.
