Went to work Monday night fixing bugs on the Bernie site and even adding some things I wasn't able to get around to before. Brushed up a little on these fixes the next night and our site is in good shape! Last night Mary Beth and I went to Crosstown for another of the shoot & splice series. This one was about documentary filmmaking as a tool for promoting a message. It was pretty good, they had a panel of a few people who occupy a different place in a similar area and the questions from the Crosstown dude were good. Afterwards I popped by the Hi-Tone to talk about setting up the Bands for Bernie show (Mike said he would but I never heard back from him on it). Anyway, their calendar was filled up with holds, but he told me to email 'cuz the owner had some of those holds and might be able to do something. So I emailed him and he emailed me back today saying February 20th is open! His response was pretty open just saying it's open and something along the lines of "let's discuss." It sounds promising, but as I don't have a lineup yet (as I wanted to make sure a date could happen before confirming with bands) I hope I didn't blow it or handle it poorly. But we'll see what he says. If I can pull this off it'll be pretty darn awesome.

Hey thanks. I also see you're the person who read The Tunnel! That's an even rarer find.

The Tunnel was the first of his I've read. I'd bet his essays are good.
