story you may not wanna hear from last night...maybe you do, i dunno...well, i was back from walking in my swimming trunks that turned out to be bad for walking as their "internet" was chaffing my inner-thigs...so yeah, i'm cooling off and relaxing and i've taken the trunks off and sure didn't feel like replacin' 'em with anything else, and then i'm eating by this computer and it's thai curry chicken Mary Beth has made and i'm cutting the chicken and the plate's on the edge here and pressing down just tips the plate so all [well, a lot of] the curry sauce goes spilling into my lap and the floor...the curry did not agree very well with my chaffed thighs, i will say...

anyway, got up early and having found a different phone number for Memphis City Schools (staffing instead of recruitment, i think, maybe) i called that one and actually got someone to help me with my problem...they were actually not unpleasant on the phone and right away said they could just sign me up over the phone...so that's an improvement...
