yeah, so i got really sick...maybe it started creeping in tuesday night...my weekend was kinda shot...wednesday i woke up feeling a bit nauseous and kinda woozy and was so pretty much all day...i got woken up early and throughout the day kept passing out for intervals...Mary Beth and i were gonna go to some free movie night at Odessa and we went, but then there was a gate and we couldn't figure out where to get in well i wasn't feelin' so hot anyway so decided not to bother...well, anyway thursday i seem to be feeling better...don't eat much most of the day...my stomach felt tight but that was about it...no more dizziness or anything...well in the evening i ate probably the worst thing possible and i got really really really sick...violently so...painfully so...i was up off and on all night...well, that sounds like i was awake more than i was...i slept for hours at a time but woke up continually to go to the bathroom...often without much more than gas...and i had some of the worst stomach pain i've had...i think i might be feeling better in the morning so i go to work...after my first break i decided it was no good so i cut for the rest of the day...and continued the napping...i wasn't having the dizziness i'd had the first day, but much stomach was way worse...but as i said it seemed to be not so bad as the day went on...tried to see a doctor but there are no participating urgent health clinics in my area so it's either emergency room or plain ol' doctor, and of course it's pretty futile trying to see one of those the day you're actually sick...went to bed early last night and today i feel great...i actually felt better than my general state of health...i'm assuming it was a virus...today at work i finished reading The Golden Notebook by Doris Lessing...oh, and for some more randomness of my past few weeks or whatever: we got the second disc of Planet Earth in Netflix...around halfway through the third episode it froze...the disc was pretty scuffed up...we reported damage and all that and got a replacement...this dvd froze in the EXACT SAME SPOT...well, i'm thinking maybe it's something with my dvd player...so i try it out on a different dvd player (my computer) and it does the same thing in the same place...well, that's weird...so we request another dvd...the third dvd does the same damned thing in the same damned place on multiple dvd players...so i don't know what the fuck's up with that...i guess we just won't get to see all of "Ice Worlds"...
