Throbbing Gristle opened up another date in Chicago (the day after the initial show that sold out before i got my ticket...) it'll be the same setup with them playing two sets...unfortunately, i find out about this only oh four weeks in advance...less than my work's requisite five week advance for vacation requests (no need to tell ME!) but i decided i'd say fuck it and get the tickets and figure out the logists later...hopefully i'll just be able to trade some days with some people...we'll see...but i'm excited...Throbbing Gristle!!! yay!!! anyway, i haven't posted in a few days...i found out and bought the tickets uh tuesday night...the past few days have been crazy...i'll save that for another post to not taint the great joy embedded within this one...

Can you just call in sick? Sleater-Kinney's last two shows were during a very busy NO TIME OFF ALLOWED time at work, so I just called in sick and took off to Portland for the weekend.
