yesterday i hung out with Josh and Molly for a bit...later Mary Beth got home from work early and we went with Josh to see a show...it was Filthy Diablo and Adios Gringo...i'd never heard Filthy Diablo and 'cuz of their name and the fact that they're a local metal band didn't expect much of 'em but they were surprisingly pretty good...instrumental...they kind of reminded me of MX-80 a bit...though more metal, of course...and Adios Gringo was alright, as they tend to be at least alright...

in other news: "Across the Street and into the Bushes" (to be read here in case you haven't and actually have an interest in doing so) is going to be published! of course, it'll be in a really tiny literary journal some student in olympia, wa is putting together i guess mostly by herself or whatever...i don't really know much about it though...but it's still gonna be published and since i've never really had that i'm pretty excited about it...i don't know when it'll be out...but uh, anyway i guess that's all...
