yesterday Jacques and i went around selling/consigning our cds to record store...first was Lastchance, but unfortunately Larry was not there and the stupid hippie who happened to be working was a bit of a dick...said he'd buy one (at least we got the cash straight off) and then they'd see if it "moved" before they'd consider buying more...hopefully we'll get a chance to talk to Larry 'cuz he's the record store owner we actually know and we were expecting the better/most informative venture from his store...anyway, the guys from Shangri-La and Goner were nice...we gave each 3 on consignment...filled out forms and junk...we went to Davis Kidd...Jason bought 5 and the corporate office will be mailing us a check (probably in about a month)...and then we talked to Mike at Spin Street...they consigned 'em and they have a fucking minimum of 10 cds...a fucking lot (especially considering how that's definitely not where our market is...) and then i had to give them a bunch of shit like my social security number...what a load of bollocks! well, our album is smattered in record stores about town...that's something...of course, if YOU want one talk to us directly unless you just enjoy paying extra for the markup...
