another stinkin' year...

yesterday i got Jacques and Amber to go out with my to borders in search of a certain book that they didn't have...but instead i got: Port of Saints by William S. Burroughs and Death on the Installment Plan by Louis-Ferdinand Céline...we ate some vietnamese and for "dessert" i ordered this thing and it turned out to look like ran a glass through the bottom of a pond and added some ice...Jacques made the astute comment that it tastes like a wet dog smells...it had seaweed, so it sort of tasted like an odd combination of sweet syrup and sushi...it was not good...i wish i could remember what it was called...i dunno...after that we picked David up and watched Hobgoblins (MST3K) and it was one of the most spectacularly mind-crapping things i've seen in my life! oh yeah, and i got some belated christmas gifts: David delivered on his promise with Cabaret Voiltaire: Red Mecca and also Jacques and Amber got me two pairs of AC/DC boxers! then off to Josh and Molly's for new year's eve stuffs...i mostly sat around talking to Amber and farting...so a typical evening, i guess that's not too bad...i was tired and had a headache that had gone away and left behind a sluggish and immobile brain...but other than that...merry new year and god bless everyone!
