work was pretty slow for the most part today...i guess due to the pseudo-holiday...i read 109 pages...i forgot to mention yesterday the "wackiness" that went on with the recorder...well, if you pay attention you may recall the problems with the first three tracks being messed up...well, suddenly yesterday tracks 4 and 5 went the way of their younger friends...so we had to do some trickery to bounce what we were recording onto another channel (the reasons being overly-convoluted to be worth going into full detail, but basically the channels left available were the ones that the phantom power switch is missing from...) so yeah...finishing the record was like escaping a slowly sinking ship...now i definitely need to get that tape head replaced...as an 11-track 16-track recorder is pretty lame...not to mention the emerging pattern...i don't even know how long it'll hold with any channels left...oh well...
