yesterday on a big whim i decided to rearrange the practice room...move the "wall of guitar" as well as the couch into the adjoining room...moved the synth table so now the room's a lot more open...there's still an amount of random crap strewn about, but the direction it's headed in is, i think, very nice or at least comparatively so...then The Family Ghost practiced...we went through the set for our show this friday...i thnk we were sounding pretty swell...it should definitely be a swell show this friday at murphy's...then afterwards Jacques and i went to the hi-tone to see Tristeza, who were damned great...i'm a little surprised that Jimmy Lavalle's no longer in the band...but in his place is this really hot chick that plays guitar just like he does...(she even emulates his habit of constantly changing tuning, even in the middle of a song...) but in case i didn't say, it was a good show...now the fifth or sixth time i've seen that band...but a band well worth it...i got this special tour cd at the merch table...uh...work today wasn't as bad as i was expecting, having gone to bed late for the show and all...but i definitely should get to bed early tonight...i guess that's all i have to say...
