ateolf | the longest outtakes of the year

The Family Ghost's recording session went supremely well yesterday...we have our first "final version," the song being "The Longest Day of the Year"...it sounds pretty fuckin' sweet, so hopefully the rest of the songs will start moving along smoothly...and we can have this demo thingie finished posthaste...then Jacques, Amber, and i went out cruisin' the town...we went to Spin Street where i didn't get nothing...but then to a video game store:

for the GameCube, of course...then we visited Josh at his work...being let privy to the inner-working of Smart Mart (is that what it's called? i can't remember for sure...) uh, then ate at the Bellmont, Justin met us there but went home as soon as we were done eating...lame-o...(i stress the 'o'...) then back to my apartment for some HOTTT video game action!!! Jason and Amanda came over too and we bored them with our quest for nerd-dome...

i was gonna early vote today, as i made my usual trip out to my parents' to do laundry (and i'm still registered at my parents' address...) but they're closed on sundays...but then my mom told me you can early vote at any district so i'll probably go wherever's more convenient on friday...but uh, i did laundry, grocery shopped on the way home (and along with food i picked up Bowling for Columbine on dvd...) that's all for today...

last week, they offered more overtime...but instead of having pre-determined slots, they had it so you could pick and choose whatever hours you wanted...so i went for it again...this time picking 3 extra hours instead of the 4 i worked those 3 days last week...now i'll be getting off BEFORE my bedtime (instead of right at it) HURRAH!!! but yeah, i'm gonna be at it again! maybe one day i'll actually know just what it's like working my new schedule...
