so today's nice in that i'm not working overtime...and i guess that i'm done with my semi-housesitting stint...one thing that's sad about that is that the girls have fleas and had to stay in the kitchen...so they didn't get to sleep in the bed with me which is sad...oh well...i did get to hang out with them some...though not much as i was pretty much working the whole fucking past two days...really it didn't matter a whole bunch whether i stayed here or there...so much time was just at work anyway...but coming back home i made a stop by Borders (against better judgement...) i mostly wanted to look for a couple books (even though i have more than i can possibly comprehend stockpiled on top of my shelf...) anyway, i spent too much money firstly on books:
Rouse Up O Young Men of the New Age! by Kenzaburo Oe
Elective Affinities by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
Dead Souls by Nikolai Gogol
secondly on cds:
Orchestral Manœuvres in the Dark: Architecture and Morality
Augustus Pablo: King Tubbys Meets Rockers Uptown (Deluxe Edition)
thirdly on dvd:
Penn & Teller: Bullshit!
the OMD is something i had in just its lame pre-bonus tracks reissue incarnation...so it's nice to have the full version of rock and stuff now...yeah...anyway then i got back home and had another cd waiting for me in the mail:
Lee Perry: Scratch Attack!
i've got more rock than i know what to do with...i should slow down...but i felt i had to reward myself for all the time spent lamely working too much...yay me...i'm smart...
