should i be angry?

so far i'm the only one who's paid any rent this month...having just mailed a check this weekend for uh, a 1 followed by several other digits...but my roommates are currently having a poker game in this very apartment (i'll als throw in that one of them is still behind on LAST month as well...) it could be me that's wrong though...with my old fashioned, fascist values and what have you...

That's what pisses me off about having a roommate, and why I didn't really want a roommate in the first place. It's like they don't realize that if they were living on their own and didn't have people like us to cover their ass on rent, they'd be living on the street or back with their parent(s). And then they throw parties... some people don't have their priorities in check.

and what's really bad is i guess i've started to grow numb to this sort of thing...at least from one of 'em...i guess you can't squeeze blood from a rock or something...(though it'd help if rent came packaged in 40 ounce bottles...or disgused as poker games...then i could at least raise a little more money towards it...)
