went over to the folks' place tonight to do laundry...luckily (well, not so much luck as i had already had the information beforehand and used it to select tonight for my venture) my dad was out of town so i could that much of the nagging blow reduced...hung out with the dogs...i found some neat stuff over there...one i picked up a smoke detector, printed on the back"Printed in U.S.A. © 1986, 1988 Family Gard, Inc." and the picture on the box makes it look even older...but a smoke detector's a smoke detector and i've spent months constantly forgetting that we need one (well, more than that) so that was swell...i also found this Zelda "watch" (not an actual watch that tells time, just a game on a watchband so you can be cool and play a really bad Tiger-esque adaptation of the game (i guess as close as a 1989 watch could get...) everywhere you go!!! and i remember the good ol' days when i did...maybe i'll put in a new battery and do it again...that'd be fuckin' rad!!!) my mom also gave me a couple GameCube games: Aggressive Inline and Starfox Adventures...they're probably both lame but uh they were free...i'm guessing they should at least have some entertainment value on some level...hrm...the night's still somewhat not-too-old-yet, so i'd better cram in all the Zelda playing i can before bedtime!!!
