no nose

i spoke too soon about my cold getting better...'cuz like the night before last i started getting worse and stuff...throat got sorer and nose got stuffier...bollocks! but uh, along with getting sicker again i did get something cool that night: a giant Atlas of World History! surely a ballstomping atlas not to be reckoned with! Amanda and Jason came over and we just sat around...then they left and a little bit later Justin popped in...i would have been in bed by this point but i got distracted from sleeping by looking at my atlas...Justin had gotten a new regular atlas (the same as the one i got a few days ago) so we spent a little while looking at our new atlases...we are so fucking not-nerdy it's unreal!

yesterday i watched the rest of Strangers with Candy season 1 at Jason/Amanda's...what an amazing show...and speaking of amazing shows on dvd, i also acquired the Futurama Volume 3 dvd set last night...we watched some of it later on in the evening...woo...before that we took a trek to Baskin Robbins...then we had an exciting bout of grocery shopping! i actually got a lot of sleep last night, like 10 hours...so i'm feeling okay, until the generic day-quil i'm taking wears off and my throat gets sore again...


...i should have charged a fee...even something small...that way i at least would have gotten some money from SOMEONE...

there is something monstrously fucking wrong with you two! i'm really unsure what brad did to you to make you both be the most unwelcoming bunch of fucks i've ever known. thank you for making me feel oh so welcome. i think you lost a "best friend" out of it so i hope you're happy!

We were happier when Brad treated us like friends, so no, we're not that happy. We miss the way he used to be but we still love him and assume he'll return to his old self eventually. I invited Brad and you to the museum where I work, but I guess you were busy.

what's his old self...brad without a girlfriend. look, i didn't come to memphis expecting such a cold and unbelievably rude welcome...aren't friends supposed to, oh i don't know, support one another at all times and be honest with them about feelings. you haven't been doing that and have, in fact, been disgustingly middle school about it all. i have had zero problems with you all until i met you in person. it does not make an ounce of sense and i think you need to be honest with him before you lose him. my friends have never treated me the way you guys so cattily treat one another, but maybe that's why we've all stuck together for ever and don't have huge gaps in our friendships due to being stupid and childish like you both have been.

It's unfortunate you feel the way you do as I see no reason why you should take it upon yourself to be angry. Though I can appreciate that you do care for Brad, you have little to nothing to do with these circumstances despite what you may think. Brad has alienated Robert and I during the past few months for reasons I am none to clear about but this superseded his relationship with you. And in regards to us being honest, Brad used to come to me, saying I was only person he could talk to. I would love to talk to him about this latent behavior but he has not been forthcoming and seems to go out of his way to avoid us. Also, please acknowledge that you only know what Brad has chosen to tell you. Circumstances do extend beyond what he has said or you have witnessed regardless of what you may believe.
