ateolfsunday night Brad gave me his old stereo...it might eventually become the living room stereo when/if i eventually get a new amp or fix the blown amp i currently have for the stereo that's over here at my parents'...but anyways it's nice to have a real stereo instead of the cheap little boombox i'd been using for months...and i can make mix tapes at leisure again...(speaking of which i just made one for Josh this week...) my Cherry Red dvd order came on monday...a pleasant surprise that it actually went through and shipped out in a timely fashion...:

yesterday Justin Hanover made it into town...it's swell to see him again...there was a bit of a gathering at our apartment last night...a coworker of Amanda's named Tim came over...it turns out that he's someone Brad and i used to work with at Camy's...small crazy world...and as i mentioned earlier, Justin...and others...uh, not a whole lot went on..today, as you may know, was thanksgiving...i worked...it was cool...holiday pay is double time and a half...and holidays are by nature slow as hell...so i got paid a lot to read a lot...it was pretty darn swell...i finished reading Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World by Haruki Murakami...i had a nice surprise when Amanda, Jason, and Chad (Amanda's little half-brother) dropped by for my lunch break with leftovers from their thanksgiving lunch...so i had some decent eatin' and company...one sucky thing: the past two days i've had a little case of diarrhea...at its worst in the morning...but it wasn't so bad today...hopefully it's gone away by now...blah...anyway...i'm over at my parents'...stopped by after work...had some more thanksgiving leftovers...played with the doggies (who were even more excited to see me than usual...) not much else has been going on...though tomorrow is another holiday day at work...which is awesome...as i'll be making a week's pay for just these two days...i don't know if it'll be slow tomorrow too...i assume it will be, at least someone, since they won't have everyone working...well anyway...
