very little went on today...last night i got on a dub kick and ordered a few essential dub albums from amazon...woo...swung by Turtle's again to pick up something i passed up yesterday: Herbie Hancock: Thrust...(now my cd count has broken into the fourth digit...this is counting all box sets and any multiple disc item as 1...) i ended up going over to Adam/Brad/Keith's apartment...Chris was there...after a little while we (Megan, Chris, Keith, Brad, and i) went to The North End...there was a jazz group there...it was not bad at all...this stimulated some discussion about the jazz group my heart's been aching to start for the longest time...maybe now it'll be happening...the current favorite name for the group is Jazzgasm...then back at the apartment a game of risk was played...well, i didn't play and ended up leaving soon afterwards anyway...uh...that's about it...

in a day and a half i should be on my way to see Sonic Youth for my 15th time in St. Louis...i hope my fucking car can make it...i think it can...i guess i'll soon find out...
