another bad semester

well, i guess the semester's over...i just fucking hope i managed to pull off that golden C-...the day before yesterday, monday, i should have done more than i did...but early in the day i managed to get hooked reading 3001 (ended up finishing the book), then i was tired and passed out early...but i woke up early yesterday so i had the whole day to work on my project/exam...i went up to school to print out all the notes for the class (i don't have Power Point at home) then back home i tried to catch up on all the knowledge crap...and i really thought i had gotten somewhere...then in the evening i went back up to the school to work on the actual programming...the project was an extension of the last assignment...so i thought it'd be good if i got that working properly...that too would help with my understanding of it all and would be beneficial for my working on the final exam...but i soon found i was just lost in the whole thing as ever...i just have a poor understanding of OpenGL...after hours of trying to get that to work i turned my focus to just throwing together the extra stuff that needed to be done...then, i focused more on the final exam, as that's the biggest chunk of the grade...well, i think i did alright on the second part (40%...of the final which is 60% of the overall grade) but that was really easy...i mean, just a gui design...the first part, a pseudocode program of a graphical model of the solar system that the user can move around in (the remaining 60% of the final) was a BIT more of a challenge...i managed to throw something together...though i know it's heavily flawed...but i guess it's not COMPLETE garbage...i guess we'll soon see how close it was...the projct, on the other hand, the little i got around to throwing together WAS complete garbage...incomplete...half-assed isn't even the word...i couldn't've added more than 10 lines of code...fucking pathetic...needless to say the program doesn't even compile...if i don't pass i'm utterly screwed...i guess i'll know in a few days...blah...by the time i emailed my professor the work, i had been awake for over 25 hours...

my razor broke so i've been going without shaving for like a week...i'm sporting the Peter Hook...i'll also add that the other day i went through this box of cds my sister left over (well, it's mostly empty cases that don't have the discs...a few ones i'd actually be interested in had there been a cd...well, maybe just The Bends...) and came away with Beck's "Loser" single...i guess that's all i've to say...

yea, it has quite a few tracks...(5 including loser...and the bonus tracks tend to be like 5 min long...a pretty fair sized single, it be...) i don't have Mellow Gold, but it does have some version of "Soul Suckin' Jerk" and "Fume"...i've been enjoying it...

don't quote me on this, but i think mellow gold is a fine rock album. "sweet sunshine" is a neat song, especially.
