ateolfpractice today went very well...i really don't remember the last time we sounded so together on the whole...of course, we're just working on 5 songs for the time being (still a 45 min set) but we are sounding really good...right now the only hang-up i can think of is Brad speeding up every now and then...yea, Brad, THAT'S RIGHT! after practice, a big crew was gathered including myself, Jacques, Amber, Paul, Brad, Tracy, Keith, and Kerry...we assembled at Jacques' and went to eat at El Mezcal...then back to Jacques'...everyone slowly left...Megan did call me, just before we left after eating, she was going to eat herself and said she'd call me back...by this time it was just Jacques and i watching Army of Darkness with commentary (some of the best commentary i've ever heard...) she did call, but she was tired...about 15 min later Jacques went to bed so then i went home...oh, i'll also throw in that i decided to record today's version of "Taken" because, i knew i'd be singing really funny being sick and all...a very smart move as it does, in fact, sound very funny...she said to call me tomorrow so i guess i will (sorry for the jumping around of subjects...my brain don't function none right...) OH YES! and i emailed this other guy that books this other venue called The Caravan, also a diy type place...he emailed me back and The Potomac Accord show is on, so now we have 4 upcoming shows!!! woohoo!!! i think that's fuckin' awesome...well i guess that's all...except i think i'll whine once more about how being sick sucks...being sick sucks...
