ateolfdid not end up finding that W-2...so i called Camy early in the morn' and she said the Paychex ppl are backed up at this time but she'll have them mail me another copy...biggity bollocks! well, i looked some more, still couldn't find it so i filed for an extension...it was surprisingly easy...i did it over the phone...it's really funny hearing the pleasant, automated vocie saying "thank you for electronically filing your 4868 form" makes me feel like i'm in Brazil (the movie, not the country...) by the time i had all of this done and went to bed it was after 11am...i had less than 2 hrs to sleep for class...did not wake up...so i missed my first day of class for this semester...oh bloody well...fuckin' government brining me down...one other thing to share: last night, i ended up making my Danelectro strap-able...when i got it long ago, it came w/ just one nub thingie for a strap to hook to...like how acoustic guitars work...which is gay, i don't wanna get a gay acoustic strap...so a while later (also a long time ago) i went and bought a strap nub thingie kit...the object is to screw it into your guitar in a new spot...but i don't wanna drill no damned holes in my guitar...it already has screws in the back...i was just gonna take the nub thingie and put one of the already-existing screws into it...well, it turns out the screw it was designed for is a bit smaller than the screws already in my guitar...so i was thwarted...but i had an idea to MAKE it fit...last night i finally got around to it...w/ the use of a hammer and some forceful screwing (wow...that sounds like the makin's for a really good porn) i was able to get the damned thing to fit on the screw!!! woo! so now i can play my Danelectro while standing! pretty damned convenient...
