went up to the university last night...i was there in the computer lab for at least 6 hours working on my program...i actually did make some progress...and being in that environment i actually worked almost the whole time, as opposed to the non-stop goofing off i do at home...i don't remember exactly when i got there...maybe as early as 9:30 or 10...at least 11...i was there 'til after 5am...of course, my program still doesn't work right...but it's a little better than it was...and the hours of trying to figure out what i'm doing at least helped me to get a slight bit more of an understanding as to what's going on...i'm still pretty lost when it comes to how to work the matrix transformations and shit, but i'm not as bad off as i was...hrm...i don't guess i have anything else to say...

this has nothing to do with your actual entry, but ONLY THEATRE OF PAIN rules the school. CATASTROPHE BALLET is almost as good...

I KNOW! when i first heard "Romeo's Distress" i didn't want to believe that it was actually Christian Death...how could Christian Death have done something this good!? but i got over it...where would we be if we judged every band that started off good and went to crap on the basis of their later stuff? (i've had many such shocks over the years: Public Image, Ltd., Tangerine Dream, The Human League...and PiL is one of my absolute favorites now...) but Only Theatre of Pain is so fucking great...it's a shame less ppl will know about it 'cuz of the "dark shadow" that lurks over the name Christian Death...i like Catastrophe Ballet...but i wouldn't quite put it up there as being almost as good...it definately has its moments, but there is an element of cheese lurking beneath ready to spring up...as it did w/ their later albums...

Oh great Robert, I guess now you're going to change your name to Nihilus and start wearing black lipstick!
