got up and door hung...woo...afterwards i went by Legba where i purchased:

i'd been looking for that second cd for forever...any time i'd come across it online it was super-expensive...but it was just sitting there in the new arrivals...used and costing only $9...awe-fucking-some! afterwards i ended up at Jacques'...we watched The Simpsons and Seinfeld...Paul showed up and we went to the practice space where Brad and Keith met us...and no, you are not reading incorrectly...after that talk the other night, it does seem my days of hating Keith have come to an end...and as it stands now, it seems he's back in The Family Ghost...what a strange and wacky world this be...but anyway, practice went amazingly well...we went through a bunch of songs...Keith took back the drums on "Taken" and Brad returned to synth and Paul started writing a guitar part...it was fucking great and when i told him so after we finished playing he said something along the lines of "i was asking myself, how would Robert play it?" a philosophy everyone should practice more often! when it was over, and after giving my car a penis, Brad and Keith went their own separate way...and Jacques, Paul, and i went w/ Amber and Shawna to Huey's...on the way home i stopped off at the grocery store and got the doggies some doggie food...then in Germantown i got fucking pulled over again for my tail light...i told him right off i had just gotten a ticket for it the other night and hadn't had time to take it in...he just gave me a warning...it's ironic how much less i hate Germantown cops than Memphis cops...or maybe it's not...but that's the case anyway...and when i got home

I love that hollow, tinny bass sound. reminds me of a crap hoffner copy I used to have...
Makes me think of Unknown Pleasures (not the songs, just the sound.)

thanks...i play the bass on "Taken," though not on the other...it was from this Silvertone bass i got used, a previous owner had put in a new bridge but didn't do it right or something and it always had this buzz...unfortunately it's currently out of commission...the practice space flooded a while back and i think the input rusted...fortunately that was the only casualty...
