Justin H. arrived in town today...i haven't gotten to see him yet...hopefully "tomorrow"...before work, i met Justin W. at the Sub Shop...then w/ what little time left i had before work, we went to two nearby pawn shops...it was really fucking busy at work tonight...Chris was the rush driver...he was there for the early rush...then got let off...not a whole lot longer after that it started getting really busy and he was called back but he said he had already started drinking so he didn't come in...Cat told him he'd definately have to come in at midnight as scheduled...Leah was eventually gotten in touch w/ and she came in...(it is irrelevant to anything, but she's pretty cute...) and while Chris is slow, she's even slower...then at midnight Chris didn't come in and it was busy as fucking fuck...we stop taking orders at 2 and we were so backed up that i didn't get back from my last run 'til about 3:30...(on slow nights, we're leaving the store by that point...) other crap...on one delivery, the ppl were listening to It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back, which is cool...(or at least "Bring the Noise") and on my last run (which was very long), i took some food to John Hancock, Mr. Bignutz himself...he did tip me $7 (my biggest tip of the night as well...) he did appear to be REALLY fucking stoned though...i'll also mention here that at the end, almost EVERY fucking order was going downtown...my last delivery was to the front desk of the Comfort Inn (which is downtown)...front desks are always bad business...the food was prob'ly 1.5 hrs old or so...of course i was tipped less than a dollor, but the security guard (not even the guy who ordered, mind you) said to me "you must be new"...i said i wasn't and he asked me how long i had been working...then he said something about Willie coming back to work...i can't believe the nerve of the cocksucker...it doesn't really piss me off 'cuz i know how insanely busy it was and what a good job i actually did...but it's still annoying...i hope someone flew a plane into that building just now...i left the store a little afte 5...i was actually done w/ my work a littler earlier but Tim was doing the dishes and wasn't finished so i helped him w/ what little left there was...(i'll also mention that it was so busy we didn't get a chance to work on the dishes the whole night...surprisingly the pile wasn't too big...) but that's all the boring pointless crap i have to say about work...another thing about earlier today, i got the recorder back up and functioning...i did some de-denting work on the reel...but i don't even think that was the big problem...i found that one of the rotating guide things for the tape had gotten too tight and wasn't working right...after a little lookin' 'n' thinkin' i figured out how to loosen it and it's workin' fine nows...recording some rock on it in the near future might be a sweet-ass plan...
