when i woke up this afternoon, i went out to Consignment where i purchased 8 picks (every fucking one i'd had has disappeared...) i also bought a Fender brand chromatic tuner...hopefully that should make practices run more efficiently in the future...next i went over to Brad's and watched The Simpsons...afterwards we went to Legba where i sold my Looper cd and bought:

i've had the Suicide album for a long time now, but i've still just had the single disc Red Star release and hadn't gotten the two disc Mute reissue yet...it is much welcomed into my collection...

for a while it was Jacques i couldn't get in touch w/...then when he finally made it back home and called me i could no longer get in touch w/ Paul...we kept trying the whole night but were unsuccessful...Brad and i met Jacques at the space and proceeded to run through a few songs...the band was practicing next door once again...(i guess they do so ever night...quite to our misfortune...) even after months of not playing some of those songs ("Homage," "A Better Way of Failing," "Taken") we were still together and played relatively well...Brad had to leave so i dropped him off and came back and Jacques and i waited for Paul a little longer, playing around...the band from two spaces over came by, curious about the synths/noises we've been making...they were nice little youngsters...(they looked around 18ish...maybe a little younger...please shoot me...i'm called 18 yr olds youngsters...i'm not THAT old yet...?) we kind've felt bad for mocking them so cruelly constantly...well, they're band's still horrible...but what can you do? we found that they're Crypt Orchid...i guess i've said all i have to say...oh, except one more thing i remembered...i read tonight that only about 300 ARP Avatars were made...cool...'cuz i have one of those...AND w/ the hex guitar pickup, which is rare w/in the having of the ARPs...phat synth cred, yo...

I hate that. I ended up not getting my stuff done either 'coz I was waiting for a call I'd already missed. I wish you had said in the first message that y'all were heading on without me. I would have just met you there even tho' I'd not spoken directly to you.

yea...i didn't think to at first...well, the first message i think was before we were heading over there...oh well...hopefully things will go better next time...
